Word and Phrase Coding Rules

Concepts:

1. Chinese words can be grouped to simple words or complex words;
2. Many core characters have his derivatives;

Complex word coding rules:

1. When coding, a complex word is divided to at most 3 parts, and get 3 main codes;
2. Using core char's code as derivative char's code.

1. Simple Word Coding

Simple Word: having at most 3 characters. No coding rule for simple words.

Complex word: having more than 3 characters.

Coding Rule 1： Dividing word to at most 3 parts，get at most 3 main codes.

Coding Rule 2: Derivative Character

Derivative char: one of 4 strokes (一丨丿丶) + core char = (forming)Derivative char, such as:

In complex word, after taking 3 main codes, in remain stroke(s) or character(s), take 1 code as its fourth code. HeInput software always prompt the 4th code for you.
