1. HeInput component system

The HeInput component system is the base for developing Chinese writing and typing skills.

From strokes to components, from components to words, from simple words to complex words, HeChinese provides a step-by-step approach to learning Chinese writing and typing.

We learn HeInput component system in 3 lessons, 4-6 hours:
Lesson 1: 25 HeCharacters, 2: Extended table, 3: Coding rules.

Typing is similar to writing. Each typing action belongs to word learning which involves hands, eyes and brain action, fast typing means that you know words better, fast typing will greatly increase your confidence of Chinese learning.

HeInput is not difficult to learn, but needs time and effort to practice. Once you master it, then the following study of Chinese words will be much easier.

HeChinese courses require learner to reach 30 WPM (Word Per Minute) in 2 weeks, many diligent learners reached 100+ WPM.

2. The Rainbow pronunciation pattern

In HeChinese, we teach Chinese pronunciation directly with the Rainbow pattern, without PinYin and tones.

Chinese words all are mono-syllable, the process of pronouncing uses the same pattern, rainbow ‘∩’, each word is pronounced separately & completely.

Each word sound likes a piano key’s sound, always is the same, never changes, no matter it is in single word, or in phrase or sentence, even in question.

We start pronunciation learning from 12345 five numbers, their combinations: 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, and then 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23… 53, 54, 55, and then 123, 235, 342, 413, 532...

Chinese pronunciation is very simple, if you can pronounce 12345 and their combinations accurately, and master the Rainbow pronunciation pattern, then you get the skills to speak every Chinese word accurately.

3. Reciting short sentences for memorizing

To remember words one by one is difficult, but to remember words by reciting sentences is much easier.

HeChinese has textbooks, HeBook1-3. Each book has 25 lessons, each lesson has two 6-word short sentences, which are carefully composed for easy reciting.

In HeChinese, we memorize sounds and meanings of words by reciting short sentences.

4. Learning PinYin after learning 300 words

PinYin a standard Chinese word-sound annotation system, it gives each Chinese word a standard phonetic annotation. We use PinYin to learn new words’ sound.

Learning PinYin requires learner to know PinYin 4-tone sequences, so foreigners should not learn PinYin at beginning.

In HeChinese, we learn HeBook1 300 words first, then learn PinYin knowledge and skills, we use 300 word-sounds to learn Pinyin sounds, to practice 4-tone sequences. It is much easier.
